We’ve been busy over the last year, working with aerial filming and drone photography projects for a variety of clients.

Higher Aerials have been producing commercial aerial filming, post production and distribution for our clients – helping them to tell their story, and supporting their vision with high quality content. Featured in this compilation are from the following projects:

National Citizen Service, UK

Autumn Campaign

Content production and delivery for a NCS provider in the South of the United Kingdom. Their Autumn campaign took place along the scenic Jurassic coast close to Exeter.

Street Child, Sierra Leone

Travelled to Sierra Leone with the support of charity Street Child – “Working in some of the poorest areas in the world, we strive to ensure that every child has the chance to go to school and learn.”

We visited the Northern territories to capture stories of the region, using drones in the area for the first time, showing the scale and beauty of the region.

Volvo Cars UK

March

Promotional film following Volvo Ocean Race winner, Ian Walker MBE, as he recounts tales from his life in sailing, on and off the water.

National Citizen Service, UK

Summer and Spring Campaign

Covering two seasons of the NCS campaigns for Hampshire based provider. Working across Devon, Falmouth and Hampshire to produce story led content, and deliver it across their marketing channels.

Other Locations

As well as the above, we completed work in the Philippines and across the Brecon Beacons, Wales.

Safety

In all cases, during filming on projects we strive for the utmost care when considering risks whilst operating UAVs/ Drones to carry out work. However during our work in Sierra Leone it was not possible to hold back ~50 young children from chasing the drone. We were able to control the takeoff and landing site in accordance with CAA regulations.

Whilst not an ideal scenario, we were able to showcase and teach many of the children present about drones and their application in remote regions.
